10/10 recommend. SmartDecks built a 20 by 20 deck with a patio roof over the entire deck and it looks phenomenal. Dave runs an organized business and communicated really well during the whole project - it was a relief working with him and he made it easy. Dave Thacker is old school. He gives you a quote for your project and sticks to it. If he finds something he missed, he doesn't charge extra and fixes it. He gives fair quotes, works fast, and is really a pleasure to work with. While he was at my home my old fence blew down. I had him fix that too. Both the deck and the fence look professionally made, like the professionals that built them! I would definitely refer a friend or relative to PlanTrak!

We are so happy with the way this turned out. Big project. 22 x 13 ft. covered deck off our living room viewing the lake. They excavated and poured concrete to build shop underneath with cedar shingles to match the house - waterproof coating over the shop with beautiful cedar deck on top. Posts supporting roof are about 20 feet tall. Installed doors for basement and shop, couple of custom windows. Wish I could post a picture. Dave and his crew are extremely competent and flexible with design needs. Actually, the design is mostly his. When he suggested it, I said, You can DO that? Highly recommended. We feel we got very high value to our money.
